Make a real difference in the lives of young learners by supporting students’ communication skills in a vibrant elementary school environment. This full-time, onsite contract position spans November through March and is dedicated to serving approximately 40 students from PreK through 4th grade. You'll also play a key role in conducting new evaluations and participating in the MTSS/problem-solving process.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders required
• Active Illinois SLP License
• Professional Educator License (PEL) required
• Experience with elementary-aged students (PreK–4) is highly valued
• Familiarity with MTSS or similar problem-solving models preferred
• Effective collaboration and communication skills
• Ability to manage caseload documentation and scheduling responsibly

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and group speech-language therapy to students in PreK–4
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations for early childhood and K–4 students
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and MTSS teams to support student growth
• Develop, implement, and track progress toward IEP goals
• Contribute expertise to MTSS/problem-solving meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation of services, outcomes, and compliance
• Stay up-to-date with the latest best practices and state/district guidelines
