Plant Manager

Plant Manager | $80K-$120K + Bonus

Schedule: 1st Shift (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM, Monday-Friday)

Compensation: $80,000-$120,000 Base Salary + Up to $10,000 Annual Bonus

A precision manufacturer serving the aerospace, defense, and commercial markets, is seeking a Plant Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations, production planning, materials management, inventory control, purchasing activities, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring operational excellence, on-time delivery, workforce performance, and efficient utilization of materials and resources throughout the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all daily plant operations with a focus on safety, quality, delivery, and productivity
• Own and maintain the Master Production Schedule to support customer demand and production objectives
• Oversee material planning and proactively manage shortages to minimize production disruptions
• Direct purchasing, supplier relationships, RFQs, inventory management, and receiving activities
• Partner with production, engineering, quality, and warehouse teams to drive operational performance
• Monitor inventory levels, lead times, capacity, and on-time delivery metrics
• Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce costs
• Track vendor performance and ensure materials are available to meet production requirements
• Support forecasting, capacity planning, and SIOP activities
• Lead and develop plant personnel while fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement

Qualifications:

• Plant management, operations management, or manufacturing leadership experience
• Strong background in production planning, scheduling, materials management, purchasing, and inventory control
• Experience working within a manufacturing environment
• Strong ERP/MRP system knowledge
• Proven track record of improving operational performance, on-time delivery, and inventory management
• Ability to read engineering drawings and material specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Self-motivated leader capable of thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
