THE ROLE

Lead a portfolio of middle market clients as senior relationship owner and trusted advisor

Oversee and sign off partnership, corporate, individual and trust returns - including K-1 reporting

Advise on entity structuring, transactions, succession and tax-efficient growth

Originate new business and cross-sell with audit, advisory and wealth colleagues

Represent clients on IRS and state examinations and resolve complex technical issues

Build, mentor and develop a team of managers, seniors and staff

Contribute to practice strategy, pricing and growth as part of the leadership group

PRACTICE AREAS

Commercial Tax - partnerships, pass-through entities, closely held and family-owned businesses

Financial Services Tax - fund structures, carried interest, trader / dealer issues, LP reporting

Real Estate Tax - funds, REITs, JV structures, 1031 exchanges, SALT

High Net Worth / Private Client - family offices, trusts, estate and gift, cross-border planning

CANDIDATE PROFILE

CPA or JD - MTax or LLM a plus

Deep, hands-on partnership tax compliance experience - essential

Senior client-facing tax leadership in public accounting or in-house

Middle market mindset - comfortable advising founder-led and family-owned businesses

Existing client relationships or a credible path to building a book
