Title: School Counselor - Northside Intermediate

Job Description:
The School District of Milton is seeking applicants for a School Counselor position at Northside Intermediate School (fourth through sixth grade).
This position begins in August 19, 2026, and offers an exciting opportunity to join our team in shaping the future success of our students. We provide a competitive starting salary of $62,400 for a 190-day contract, available to candidates with a Master’s degree. Additional compensation is available for those with prior public education teaching experience and further education beyond a bachelor’s degree. Qualifications:
The School District of Milton is seeking an individual who understands the barriers to student learning and the use of counseling strategies to eliminate these barriers for fourth through sixth grade students. Candidates should be organized, flexible, have strong communications skills, and the ability to work with all students. The ideal candidate will collaborate with teachers, parents and staff to enhance their effectiveness in supporting students. In addition, the school counselor will assist with assessment coordination and provide support to other building initiatives and programs. It is import to note, that the ideal candidate should be able to support universal instruction in the social-emotional competencies as well as lead small groups based on student needs.
