Manager of Technical Accounting

To support a growing technical accounting function, the full-time Manager of Technical Accounting will manage technical research, revenue recognition under ASC 606, and assist with SEC reporting while working remotely. Key responsibilities Provide technical accounting support by researching and drafting memos on complex transactions and implementing new accounting standards Review customer contracts for revenue recognition under ASC 606 and improve related processes and controls Assist in the preparation of periodic SEC filings and ensure accurate financial disclosures and compliance with reporting standards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 4-7 years of progressive accounting experience, preferably with Big 4 or large regional firm experience Hands-on experience with ASC 606 and drafting revenue recognition memos Familiarity with SEC reporting concepts and SOX internal controls Strong Excel skills and experience with ERP and SEC reporting tools
