Key Responsibilities- Support all technical aspects of quality control testing and readiness, including:
- QC reagent and material management
- Equipment preparation, cleaning, and routine maintenance
- Sample management and QC testing
- Documentation completion and review in compliance with GMP regulations and product specifications

- Generate summaries and report QC results; support deviation and OSS/OOT/OOE investigations.
- Participate in assigned validation activities as necessary.
- Conduct validation screenings using colony PCR and staining protocols.
- Perform complex and varied laboratory procedures for isolation and identification of bacteria and fungi.
- Prioritize work based on sample priority.
- Perform necessary housekeeping duties in a timely manner, keeping work areas and equipment clean and sanitized.
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology, Biology, or related field with a minimum of 3 years of laboratory experience in the agricultural or biotechnology industry.
- Proficient in microbiology methods (plate enumeration, growth promotion, microbial ID, etc.) and aseptic technique.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, at all levels and across various functions.
- Experience with electronic document control systems (e.g., SharePoint, electronic notebooks).
- Prior experience working in an analytical or biological lab or managing third-party lab testing.
- Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to interpret analytical data and convert to technical documentation.
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time.
