Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) Location: Kansas City, MO (District‑Wide) Assignment Duration: August 17, 2026 – May 23, 2027 Position Overview Our client is hiring Speech‑Language Pathologists to deliver comprehensive speech and language services across K–12 settings. In this role, you will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication and swallowing disorders, develop and implement IEPs, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with district, state, and federal guidelines. Responsibilities Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments for speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) Provide direct therapy using evidence‑based practices Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers Communicate progress and recommendations to families and staff Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary planning teams Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and billing Support discharge planning, transitions, and student services Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements Maintain a safe, organized therapy environment Provide supervision to SLPAs, Clinical Fellows, and student interns (as applicable) Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Speech‑Language Pathology from an accredited program Active SLP license in the state of practice CCC‑SLP from ASHA Completion of Clinical Fellowship (preferred) School‑based or pediatric experience (preferred) Ideal Candidate Experience in K–12 or early childhood settings Strong understanding of IEP development and compliance Ability to support diverse speech and language needs Collaborative, flexible, and team‑oriented Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills Comfortable working across multiple sites or age groups Supervision Speech‑Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) Clinical Fellows (CFYs) Graduate interns or student clinicians Detailed Responsibilities Conduct comprehensive evaluations aligned with district referral and IEP guidelines Develop individualized plans of care based on student and family goals Deliver therapy using evidence‑based interventions Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to align educational and therapeutic strategies Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed Complete all required documentation and billing per district policy Provide direction and supervision to support personnel Perform additional duties as assigned #J-18808-Ljbffr The Judge Group
