Our client is seeking a Senior Accountant to support day-to-day accounting activities and accurate financial reporting across multiple business units. This is a full-time, in-office position responsible for assisting with month-end close processes, reconciliations, and maintaining reliable financial records.
As Senior Accountant, you will support the monthly accounting cycle, assist with balance sheet accuracy, and work within a modern accounting system to ensure reliable financial data across multiple entities.
What You'll Do:
- Assist with month-end close activities, including journal entries and reconciliation of major balance sheet accounts
- Prepare and review bank reconciliations, including support of automation and AI-enabled reconciliation tools
- Maintain reconciliations for key balance sheet accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness
- Review financial data to identify discrepancies and support accurate reporting
- Collaborate with the Controller and accounting team to maintain strong financial controls
What We're Looking For:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Experience supporting month-end close and balance sheet reconciliations
- Knowledge of bank reconciliation processes, including automated or AI-supported tools
- Experience with Workday or similar enterprise accounting systems preferred
- Background in bookkeeping, general ledger accounting, or accounting support roles
