Principal Data Scientist

Leading the transformation of business through innovative AI solutions, the full-time remote Principal Data Scientist specializing in Generative AI will design, develop, and deploy production-ready AI applications while driving the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML projects and collaborating with stakeholders to identify high-impact use cases. Key responsibilities Lead the design, development, and deployment of Generative AI applications, ensuring alignment with operational needs and engineering best practices Drive the end-to-end lifecycle of AI/ML projects, utilizing prompt engineering, data versioning, and systematic experimentation to optimize performance Develop and maintain secure, scalable infrastructure on AWS, focusing on cloud resource management and compliance while promoting MLOps best practices Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related analytical field, with at least 5 years of experience in full-stack application deployment Proven experience in designing and shipping production Generative AI applications with strong skills in prompt engineering and orchestration frameworks Expertise in full-stack development technologies, including Python, TypeScript, SQL, and CI/CD pipelines Extensive experience with AWS services, particularly Bedrock, SageMaker, and infrastructure as code Strong background in data science and machine learning techniques, with a focus on fairness in AI development and empirical evaluation methodologies
