The individual in this position is responsible for the following:Monitoring the operation of mid-range computers systems, AS400, and client/server systemsRecognizing operational/production problems, systems messages and failures, and assisting in solutionsCompleting nightly production, instant schedules, and balance reportsUpdating websites, emailing media result sheets and estimated jackpots for all online games, and emailing eNewsletters for all gamesMaintaining tape libraries, Iron Mountain™ documentation, and preparing documentation for nightly, weekly, and monthly offsite tapesPreparing and sending weekly billingConferring with Supervisor of OperationsQualificationsKNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIESThe successful candidate will possess at least three years of experience with IBM AS400 iSeries running OS400, as well as database experience as a Computer Operator or Operations Analyst. You should be proficient in the use of Windows XP/Vista and Microsoft Office 2003/2007.
