Service PlumberThis role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining residential and light commercial plumbing systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience. You install, service, and replace plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping, and related systems, ensuring all work complies with local plumbing codes and internal quality standards. You respond to service calls, perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance, and clearly communicate findings, repair options, and recommendations to customers. Accurate completion of work orders and service documentation, along with proper care and use of company tools, equipment, and vehicles, are central to this position.ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair residential and light commercial plumbing issues efficiently and accurately.Install, maintain, and replace plumbing fixtures, water heaters, piping, and related plumbing systems.Respond promptly to service calls and identify effective, long-lasting solutions for customers.Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on plumbing systems and components.Interpret and work from blueprints and construction documents to complete plumbing tasks correctly.Ensure all plumbing work meets local plumbing codes and internal quality and safety standards.Communicate inspection findings, repair options, and recommendations clearly and professionally to customers.Deliver an exceptional customer experience during every service visit through courteous and respectful service.Complete work orders, service reports, and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner.Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicles in a safe, clean, and professional manner.Collaborate effectively with team members and other trades when working on construction or maintenance projects.Follow established safety procedures and best practices while working with piping, fixtures, and mechanical systems.Essential SkillsHands-on plumbing experience in residential and light commercial environments.Proficiency working with PVC, PVC pipe, cast iron, and other common piping materials.Ability to install, repair, and maintain piping and plumbing systems, including fixtures and water heaters.Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving plumbing and piping issues.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans related to plumbing installations.Strong maintenance skills for ongoing service, inspection, and preventative care of plumbing systems.Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering a positive experience during service visits.Clear and professional communication skills for explaining findings, repair options, and recommendations to customers.Attention to detail and accuracy when completing work orders and service documentation.Commitment to following local plumbing codes and adhering to safety standards and best practices.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working on construction projects involving plumbing and piping installations.Ability to work independently in the field while managing multiple service calls.Strong organizational skills for scheduling, documenting, and prioritizing service work.Professional demeanor and reliability when interacting with customers and team members.Willingness to participate in ongoing training, conferences, and professional development opportunities.Why Work Here?You join a team that actively invests in your growth through sponsored conferences, training trips, and opportunities to build strong relationships during team dinners and events.
