Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Summary:

Provides specialized nursing care in the Emergency Room setting, ensuring immediate and effective response to patient needs. Supervises and collaborates with healthcare team members to deliver timely, safe, and compassionate emergency care.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess emergency patients promptly to determine the severity of their condition.
  
  
• 
  Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessment and clinical standards.
  
  
• 
  Perform lifesaving interventions, including basic and advanced cardiac life support as needed.
  
  
• 
  Coordinate care with physicians, specialists, and ancillary staff to ensure seamless emergency treatment.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on care procedures and post-discharge instructions.
  
  
• 
  Document patient care activities accurately and promptly in compliance with hospital policies.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a valid RN license in the state of practice.
  
  
• 
  Minimum of two years recent experience in an emergency room or acute care setting.
  
  
• 
  Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor.
  
  
• 
  Preferred: Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  
  
• 
  Strong critical thinking, decision-making, and communication skills.
