Join our team and help build engineering solutions that change the industry./ppThe Material Handler - Yard is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the site./ppStarting Pay: $22/hr, can be adjusted with experience/ppSchedule: 6:00 PM 5:00 AM Monday through Friday (eventually will be going to 10 4s)/ppThere is a shift premium included/ppThis position does not offer relocation/ppThis position does not offer sponsorship/ppThis position is located in Midland, TX/ppAt SPM Oil Gas, our primary objective is to provide our customers with excellent engineering solutions through our products and superior customer service/ppUnload, stock and inventory all deliveries/ppAssist with new orders and cycle counts/ppRead and understand standard work and risk assessments/ppExhibits equipment and product understanding/ppCounts, weighs, secures, tags, palettize and stacks materials and maintains accurate records of material movement/ppAssist service operations with pulling and picking parts/ppPerforms other job duties as assigned/ppMinimum of three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience/ppPrior experience operating a forklift/ppMust be able to become forklift certified within 30 days/ppMust be able to effectively operate hand-held scanner (inventory transaction device) within 30 days/ppAbility to use identification tools (engraver, metal stamps, paint pen) to mark product/ppAbility to read and interpret dimensional drawings/ppBasic understanding of the warehouse distribution industry/ppExperience/exposure to yard material handling/ppFrequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear/ppRequired to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl/ppMust occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds/ppSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus/ppMust be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department/ppRegularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles/ppFrequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions/ppOccasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration/ppNoise Level: Moderate/pp$19.85 - $26.55/ppCompensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience.
