The Fountain Group Project Manager I Location: Aliso Viejo, CA Pay: $43/hr Duration: 7 Months Job Description We are seeking a Project Manager I to lead software delivery initiatives and manage end-to-end project execution for technology-driven engagements. The role involves overseeing project scope, timelines, cost, risk, quality, and stakeholder coordination while ensuring successful delivery aligned with customer expectations. Key Responsibilities Manage software development projects using Agile and structured project management methodologies Drive project planning, estimation, scheduling, resource allocation, and delivery tracking Monitor project KPIs including sprint velocity, schedule variance, effort variance, defect leakage, and product quality metrics Lead scope management activities including requirements analysis, prioritization, traceability, and change impact analysis Implement governance frameworks, quality benchmarks, and software engineering best practices across projects Conduct risk identification, mitigation planning, escalation management, and dependency tracking Support test strategy planning, defect triage, root cause analysis, and system integration testing activities Define tooling strategies and guide teams in delivering high‑quality technical work products Collaborate with stakeholders to map business requirements to technology solutions and present solution approaches or proof of concepts Mentor project teams, support skill development initiatives, and promote reusable methodologies and process improvements Required Skills Agile project management and software delivery management Project planning, estimation, scheduling, and resource planning Scope management and change impact analysis Risk management and issue escalation KPI tracking, metrics analysis, and quantitative project health assessment Defect management, root cause analysis, and test coordination Software development lifecycle (SDLC) management Governance and quality process implementation Technology solution mapping and technical landscape understanding Stakeholder management within technology projects Preferred Skills Experience with sprint velocity and productivity tracking Knowledge of estimation methodologies and quantitative management techniques Experience supporting proof of concepts (POCs) and solution structuring Familiarity with reusable engineering methodologies and automation initiatives Team mentoring and technical coaching experience #J-18808-Ljbffr The Fountain Group
