As a OSP Design Engineer, you will have the exciting opportunity to plan and design fiber network solutions using fiber optic infrastructure inventory in GIS and associated tools. You will:- Interface with internal (Data Center Engineering, Business Developers, Deployment Engineers, Tool Automation) and external stakeholders (Construction Vendors, Engineering Firms, ) - Create network solutions and plans for your region- Create engineering design and documents, single line drawings, cable routing, and splicing work packages in a GIS system- Ingest and audit GIS data for completeness and accuracy .- Optimize processes to improve efficiency and delivery.- Willing to travel 10% of the timeAbout the teamWhy AWSAmazon Web Services (AWS) is the world’s most comprehensive and broadly adopted cloud platform. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
