Position Overview

We are seeking a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician to join a well-established medical practice in Washington, DC. This opportunity is ideal for a relationship-driven physician who is passionate about delivering highly personalized, preventive, and patient-centered care.

The practice offers smaller patient panels, longer appointment times, and a collaborative clinical environment that allows physicians to focus on building meaningful patient relationships while reducing administrative burden. Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive primary and preventive care to adult patients.
• Develop long-term patient relationships through personalized care plans.
• Perform annual wellness visits, chronic disease management, and preventive screenings.
• Coordinate care with specialists, hospitals, and ancillary healthcare providers.
• Deliver evidence-based recommendations focused on health optimization and disease prevention.
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation.
• Participate in practice growth and community engagement activities as desired.
• Ensure continuity of care and exceptional patient experience.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
• Board Certified in Internal Medicine.
• Active and unrestricted District of Columbia medical license (or ability to obtain).
• Active DEA registration.
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine residency program.
• Strong outpatient and adult primary care experience.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in concierge medicine, direct primary care, or private practice is preferred but not required.
