About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with a focus on small business to join their rapidly growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships, providing financial and controller services, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles. This role requires a dedicated professional with a strong focus on communication, accuracy, and timeliness, who can manage a team of 3-5 employees and is committed to exceeding client expectations. Applicants for the CFO position at the company should have excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong business acumen, and extensive knowledge of general financial and cost accounting. The role demands a leader with strong technical and interpersonal leadership abilities, as well as the capacity to lead teams, including coaching, delegation, and performance management. A BA in a related field, 10+ years of accounting experience, and 2+ years of supervisory or project lead experience are required. A CPA is preferred, and an MBA or master's degree in a related field is a plus. The ideal candidate will also have experience with a range of accounting software and be highly proficient in tools such as Microsoft Office, QuickBooks Online, and various other financial and business management applications.
