Type of Requisition: Regular Clearance Level Must Currently Possess: Interim Secret Clearance Level Must Be Able to Obtain: Top Secret SCI + Polygraph Public Trust/Other Required: None Job Family: Security Operations Job Qualifications: Skills: Construction, Ensure Compliance, Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) Certifications: None Experience: 1 + years of related experience US Citizenship Required: Yes Job Description: Construction Surveillance Technician Construction Surveillance Technician’s primary function is to provide day to day security in support of Sensitive Compartmented Information Facility (SCIF) & Special Access Program (SAP) construction efforts. If you have experience providing access control or security guard job functions, this job may be a match for you. A CST's role has many similar job functions and experience in the access control and security guard roles are helpful in a CST role. Training in ICD-705 is preferred but we can train right individuals. You must have at least a SECRET security clearance to qualify. Work is on site in Cheyenne Wyoming. Performance shall include: Assesses, identifies and communications recommendations for improvements of policies, procedures, or systems. Identifies threats, vulnerabilities, and potential risks. Drafts security incident reports and briefs government and civilian agencies including military senior leaders. Manages uniformed escort personnel and associated logs; assigns, trains, briefs site security duties and ensures timely reporting of security incidents to site lead. Follow and enforce customers’ Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) Perform miscellaneous administrative support functions as directed by the contractor site lead and/or the Senior Security Representative Shall conduct inspections of materials being delivered for utilization in construction of secure spaces. Will photograph and continuously monitor the construction of secure spaces and document all steps in order to support final accreditation packets. Education Bachelor’s degree is desired and counts towards 4 years of experience. Associates degree counts towards 2 years of experience. Required Experience 1+ years related experience Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC) counts towards 3 years of experience. Special Program Security Certification (SPSC) counts towards 5 years of experience. Maximum equivalent experience for SPED Certifications is no more than 5 years. Desired Experience: Knowledgeable on Intelligence Community Directive (ICD) 705 (on SCIFs and compliance with uniform IC physical and technical security requirements). Other Requirements: Complete additional safety training and/or certification as required by local site (i.e., OSHA 10 Construction Safety, OSHA Fall Protection and OSHA Confined Space) within the first 30 days of hire. Must obtain CDSE STEPP ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for SAP course completion within the first 30 days of hire. Security Clearance: Must have a Secret clearance to start and be willing and able to obtain up to a TS/SCI with CI polygraph. #AirforceSAPOpportunities #GDITPriority The likely salary range for this position is $64,230 - $71,990. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
