As a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Driver Front Desk Operations in Quakertown, PA , this role is designed to provide reliable, consistent hours at an assigned site with the flexibility for you to earn more by picking-up additional shifts when it works for you.

Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour

• Valid Driver's License

  • AU Driver Policy Requirements (C123): Candidates must possess a valid driver's license in accordance with local regulations.
  • Valid Driver's License - In Job State (C124): Candidates must hold a valid driver's license specific to the state in which they will be employed.

• Access Control/Badge Experience (B201):
  Candidates should have prior experience with access control systems and badge management.

• Alarm Panel Experience (B202):
  Candidates must demonstrate familiarity with alarm panel systems and their operation.

• Comfortable Using Computer or Tablet (B204):
  Candidates should be proficient in using computers or tablets for daily tasks and communication.

• CPR Certification (B205):
  Candidates must possess a current CPR certification, ensuring readiness for emergency situations.

• Customer Service Experience (B219):
  Candidates should have a background in customer service, demonstrating strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle customer inquiries effectively.

• Loss Prevention (B210):
  Candidates must have experience or training in loss prevention strategies and practices.

Job Schedule:

How This Role Works:

• Fixed-Shift Commitment (“Anchor Shifts”): You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
• Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It’s all up to you.

This role is ideal for candidates seeking part-time employment with flexibility, income stability, and opportunities to build-up to a full-time schedule of up to 40 hours per week; always with the option to scale back when needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, drivers, and employees by carrying out site-specific procedures and front-desk access protocols at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor visitor, contractor, and delivery check-in activities; verify identification and maintain accurate visitor and access records in accordance with site policies.
• Answer incoming calls, direct inquiries to appropriate personnel, and communicate clearly with visitors and site contacts in a professional manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Monitor entry areas and security-related systems as assigned, report unusual activity or access concerns, and help to deter unauthorized entry.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
