Front Office Medical Assistant | Specialty ClinicPlano, TX Monday-Friday | 8:30 AM-5:00 PM Seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support a busy specialty clinic. This position combines patient-facing clinical support with front office and administrative responsibilities.ResponsibilitiesEscort patients to and from exam rooms, provider offices, and treatment areasRecord vital signs, height, weight, allergies, and medication updatesObtain and prepare patient records for provider visits and proceduresPrepare and stock exam rooms and maintain clinical suppliesAssist providers during exams and procedures by documenting findings and supporting workflowMaintain exam room cleaning and disinfection protocolsAnswer incoming patient calls and route messages appropriatelyProcess prescription refill requests and perform patient follow-up calls as directedNotify providers of patient cancellations, reschedules, and no-showsSupport front office operations including reception, scheduling, filing, faxing, chart preparation, and other administrative dutiesRequirementsPrevious Medical Assistant experience requiredMedical Assistant certification preferred but not requiredStrong customer service and communication skillsAbility to multitask in a fast-paced clinical environmentExperience with patient intake, vital signs, and medical documentationProficient with EMR systems and standard office equipmentDependable, organized, and detail-orientedPreferredExperience in a specialty practiceFront office or medical reception experienceExperience coordinating patient records and referralsBenefitsMonday-Friday scheduleNo weekendsProfessional and team-oriented work environmentOpportunity for long-term growth and stabilityJob Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plano, TX.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $19.00 - $24.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
