We are looking for an Insurance Account Coordinator to join a growing insurance team in Ohio. This part-time contract-to-permanent opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing administrative, billing, and client support work in a structured office setting. The person in this role will help keep policy records accurate, support payment and invoicing activities, and deliver responsive service to clients and carrier partners. Training is available for someone eager to build long-term experience within the insurance industry.

Responsibilities:
• Review policy data received from insurance carriers and confirm that coverage details, endorsements, and renewals are recorded correctly.
• Investigate mismatches between carrier documents and internal agency records, then take steps to correct and document any issues.
• Maintain organized and accurate client, billing, and policy information within the agency management system and related office tools.
• Handle policy updates requested by customers, ensuring changes are processed promptly and reflected in account records.
• Support accounts payable and accounts receivable tasks, including entering transactions, tracking balances, and keeping documentation current.
• Process premium payments, invoices, and other billing activity with a high level of accuracy and attention to deadlines.
• Communicate with clients regarding billing questions, policy information, and account concerns while providing courteous and timely follow-up.
• Collect information needed for insurance quotes and assist with preparing applications and supporting materials for the team.
• Provide day-to-day administrative support to account managers and producers to help maintain smooth office operations.• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in customer service, office administration, banking, insurance support, billing, or accounting-related work is preferred.
• Familiarity with accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections, or bookkeeping practices is an advantage.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn agency software quickly are needed for success in this role.
• Strong data entry accuracy, organizational ability, and attention to detail are essential.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills with a detail-oriented approach to client service are required.
• Experience with QuickBooks, invoice processing, or working in a detail-oriented office environment is beneficial.
