The role centers on conducting comprehensive bilingual speech evaluations across multiple district schools, collaborating with educators, and ensuring every student’s needs are assessed with care and professionalism.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Arizona SLP state licensure
• Current Educator Certificate
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP)
• Bilingual fluency required
• Strong clinical skills in administering and interpreting speech/language assessments
• Commitment to culturally responsive practices

Role Responsibilities:

• Conduct bilingual speech and language assessments for elementary and middle school students district-wide
• Collaborate with the evaluation team to determine appropriate services and recommendations
• Complete thorough documentation and case notes in compliance with state and district protocols
• Communicate results and recommendations effectively with educators, parents, and other stakeholders
• Remain current with best practices, state guidelines, and emerging trends in school-based speech therapy
• Travel between multiple schools (no static caseload), supporting the needs of K-8th grade learners
