QEA Program Manager (Commercial P&C)

About the role As a QEA Program Manager (Commercial P&C) , you will make an impact by leading large-scale commercial underwriting and testing transformation programs for a strategic client. You will be a valued member of the Quality Engineering and Assurance organization and work collaboratively with CIOs, C level stakeholders, business leaders, and cross functional delivery teams to drive modernization, innovation, and measurable outcomes. In this role, you will: Lead end-to-end program planning and execution for commercial underwriting and Quality Engineering initiatives Partner closely with CIOs and senior leadership to manage communication, expectations, and strategic alignment Influence and align CIO strategic goals with program delivery, including Test Automation, Gen AI implementation, and Data Strategy Drive organizational change management to support adoption of new processes, tools, and modernization strategies Champion transformation and innovation initiatives across Quality Engineering and Assurance Develop, manage, and govern program budgets while ensuring financial discipline and value delivery Identify program risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies across multiple workstreams Work model: Hybrid We believe hybrid work is the way forward as we strive to provide flexibility wherever possible. Based on this role’s business requirements, this is a hybrid position requiring 4 days a week onsite at a client or Cognizant office in Charlotte, NC . What you need to have to be considered: 10+ years of experience in Program or Project Management leading complex, enterprise initiatives 15+ years of Quality Engineering / Testing experience with strong knowledge of testing methodologies and techniques At least 3 years of experience within Commercial Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance Proven experience partnering with and influencing CIOs and senior executive stakeholders Strong blend of business and technical acumen , with the ability to translate strategy into execution Excellent stakeholder management and interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written These will help you stand out: Experience leading enterprise-wide transformation programs in Quality Engineering or Technology modernization Hands‑on exposure to Test Automation, Gen AI enablement, and data‑driven testing strategies Demonstrated success driving change management and adoption across distributed teams We’re excited to meet people who share our mission and can make an impact in a variety of ways.
