Job DetailsJob Location: OK Oklahoma City - Oklahoma City, OK 73129Compliance Coordinator United Petroleum Transports / Florida Rock & Tank Lines Location:Oklahoma City, OK (onsite) Reports To:Director of Compliance Department:Compliance FLSA:Non-Exempt The Role Every driver on the road for UPT and FRTL represents a standard we take seriously, and this role is part of the team that keeps that standard in place. You will work alongside an experienced compliance team, learning on the job and building real expertise in DOT and FMCSA requirements. A good part of the work is on the phone and in your inbox, reaching out to drivers, dispatchers, and other contacts to gather documents, pull reports, and keep open items moving. What You Will Own Audit and maintain Driver Qualification files to keep every driver legally compliant with DOT and FMCSA regulations Monitor compliance status across the driver base and identify lapses before they become violations Reach out directly to drivers, dispatchers, and fleet contacts by phone and email to gather required documentation and resolve open items Pull and review roadside inspection reports and MVR records, flagging anything that needs action Track and maintain training records and rosters for UPT and FRTL drivers Communicate with Independent Contractors on qualification and leasing requirements Support compliance audits and assist the Director of Compliance with reporting and special projects Cross-train with the Recruiting team to understand how driver onboarding connects to qualification Who Thrives Here You are precise and you follow through, and the people around you know they can count on you to show up and do what you said you would do. Qualifications What You Need High school diploma or equivalent Comfortable and confident on the phone, including with people who may be hard to reach or slow to respond Strong attention to detail and a track record of following through on tasks Ability to manage multiple open items at once and prioritize without losing accuracy Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook Dependable, consistent, and professional in every interaction Nice to Have Prior experience in transportation, logistics, or a compliance-related role Familiarity with DOT or FMCSA regulations Experience with TMW, PAYCOM, or similar fleet or HR systems Comfortable working with data and pulling reports from multiple systems What Success Looks Like Every driver file is current, complete, and audit-ready at any point in time Lapses are identified early and resolved before they create a compliance exposure Drivers, dispatchers, and teammates know who to call and trust that open items will get handled Reports are pulled accurately and on time, with nothing falling through the cracks The Director of Compliance has a coordinator she can count on without having to follow up Stakeholders across the organization describe this person as dependable, professional, and easy to work with This person shows up every day ready to carry their part, because the team counts on it Working Conditions Full-time, onsite at the OKC corporate office Extended periods at a workstation using a computer and phone Occasional lifting up to 20 pounds Routine use of standard office equipment including computers, phones, and copier/printer/scanners #J-18808-Ljbffr United Petroleum Transports
