Salary$12% bonusLocationNew York, NY, USAContractPermanentTypeRemoteIndustryLife InsuranceContactEmily View email address on click.appcast.io We’re partnering with a leading Life Insurance organization going through a significant business and technology transformation and are looking for a Business Architect to help shape how its customer and internal user experiences evolve.This role will focus on understanding the current state, defining the future state, and connecting business processes, systems, and technology to create a simpler and more joined-up experience.You’ll work across business and technology, partnering with senior stakeholders, product teams, and architects to identify opportunities, challenge existing processes, and build alignment around practical solutions.Key responsibilities include:Defining future-state customer and user experiences across end-to-end business journeys.Mapping and improving business processes, workflows, and operating models.Connecting business, product, and technology stakeholders to ensure initiatives remain aligned to the wider vision.Facilitating workshops and design sessions to bring stakeholders together, identify trade-offs, and drive decisions.Assessing proposed changes to processes, systems, and experiences against the desired future state.Identifying gaps, dependencies, and opportunities across business processes, applications, data, and technology.Supporting wider transformation and digital initiatives through business architecture expertise.Creating clear journey maps, process models, and other documentation to support decision-making and ongoing change.Requirements:7+ years’ experience in Business Architecture, Customer Experience, Enterprise Process Improvement or a related area.Strong experience with journey mapping, process modelling, customer experience, operating models or business architecture.Proven ability to facilitate discussions and influence stakeholders across different business and technology functions.Strong communication, analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience working in Agile environments, with SAFe or similar frameworks.Comfortable influencing and driving decisions without formal authority.Experience supporting enterprise transformation, digital initiatives, or strategic change.Good understanding of how business processes, applications, data and technology work together.Experience working with senior stakeholders and technical architects.Insurance or Financial Services experience is preferred, along with knowledge of business architecture frameworks.If you’re a Business Architect who enjoys solving complex business problems, bringing stakeholders together, and creating practical future-state solutions across a large enterprise, we’d love to hear from you. *Must be authorized to work in the United States now, with no need for sponsorship in the future*
