Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified RN - MedSurg to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to a diverse patient population including post-operative and chronic illness patients.
• Maintain a nurse-to-patient ratio of no more than 5:1, working closely with LPNs and aides.
• Document patient information accurately using the EPIC charting system.
• Collaborate with respiratory therapy to manage CPAP, BiPAP, and high-flow equipment.
• Participate in floating assignments as needed to support other units.
• Comply with all certifications and training for BLS, NIHSS, and any other required healthcare standards.

Qualifications

• Valid RN license to practice in the state of Maryland.
• BLS and NIHSS certifications required; ACLS and PALS recommended.
• Experience with EPIC electronic charting system.
• Strong MedSurg background with ability to manage care for a variety of patient types.
• Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays as scheduled.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced acute care setting.
