Senior Compliance Field Engineer (Hybrid Schedule)

Our Team Eversource is looking for a Senior Compliance Field Engineer in Berlin, CT; Westwood, MA; Springfield, MA; Manchester/Hookset NH to support Transmission Compliance. Responsibilities In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing activities associated with the development and management of compliance activities related to the cyber‑security, physical security, and maintenance of the Bulk Electric System. These activities include, but are not limited to, developing and leading assessments, audits, and reviews of existing compliance, identification of performance gaps; facilitating the determination of improvement actions and tracking them through completion. The individual will work closely with the Operations staff to ensure compliance and implement process improvements, and will track changes to applicable standards as they are approved by regulatory authorities. Essential Functions Provides engineering/technical expertise and guidance in the identification, analysis and resolution of problems of increasing scope and complexity in both inside and outside the scope of typical responsibility. Ensures accomplishment of business goals and objectives through effective planning, organizing, estimating, scheduling and monitoring of work activities; decisions may affect the operations or results of the work group and may have some impact on major projects or department results. Prepares thorough and accurate technical reports, correspondence, documentation, calculations and sketches related to defined problems and analysis of increasing scope and complexity. Conducts engineering and related studies; completes non‑routine engineering projects with minimal oversight, independently managing project schedules and interfaces; possesses and applies the fundamental engineering concepts, practices and procedures; proficient in technical and analytical competencies necessary to handle assignments of increasing complexity. Develops positive working relationships to effectively coordinate work activities. Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills. Maintains accurate records and files. Supports the company’s goals and represents the company positively and professionally. Technical Knowledge, Skill, Education, Licenses & Certifications Knowledge of utility power systems is preferred. Ability to independently develop, present and execute new projects through collaborations with other departments. Familiarity with power‑related software is preferred. Education Bachelor’s degree in engineering. Experience 5+ years related experience is required. Engineering design experience preferred. Licenses & Certifications None. Compensation and Benefits Eversource offers a competitive total rewards program. Salary is commensurate with your experience. This position is eligible for a potential incentive. The annual salary range for this position is: $129,450.00–$143,830.00. Worker Type Regular. Number of Openings 1.
