The GMD Weapon System (GWS) processes data from multiple sensors to identify and characterize the inbound ballistic missile threat, plans the best defensive solution, and launches the intercepting missiles to negate the threat.This is a permanent, full-time position and the work will be performed on-site at our customer site in Huntsville, AL. Work schedule - Flex 4/10 Schedule or Flex 9/80 w/every other Friday off - or a straight 5/8.Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and hold an active Department of Defense secret clearance.DutiesDeveloping, maintaining, and executing automated test capabilities used to verify mission-critical software functionalityWork with software development, systems engineering, integration, cybersecurity, and test teams to ensure software products meet technical, program, and customer requirements.Required QualificationsMust be a US citizenActive DoD Secret ClearanceBachelor's, Master's, or PhD degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Math, or other STEM field4+ years of related professional experienceWorking knowledge of system design, requirements development, use cases, test plans, procedure preparation, and test executionExperience with requirements management tools such as DOORSExperience with software testing or integrationExperience in developing test artifacts/cases and executing manual test in support of requirements verification effortsKnowledge of Python and automation scriptingAbility and willingness to travel up to 10%Desired QualificationsExperience with the MDA GMD program.Broad experience with systems engineering applied throughout the systems "V" lifecycle model.Must have experience with Software development and the verification of requirements.Battle Management or Fire Control experience.MBSE or INCOSE Certifications.Experience developing SE artifacts, including specifications, Interface Control Documents, Use Cases, System Architecture Descriptions, Trade Studies, and similar documents.In-Depth Engineering provides a competitive package of salary and benefits, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, a Safe Harbor 401k program, generous Paid Time Off (PTO), STD, LTD, life insurance, and tuition assistance for higher education.
