Role Description The Insurance Sales Representative role is an on-site position located in Oakwood, GA. In this role, the representative engages with prospective and existing customers to understand their needs, explain insurance options, and recommend appropriate products such as auto, home, life, and other lines of coverage. Day-to-day responsibilities include generating leads, making outbound calls, scheduling and conducting appointments, preparing quotes, and processing applications. The representative supports policy administration, follows up on customer inquiries, and ensures a positive customer experience in line with State Farm service standards. The role also involves meeting sales goals, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with the agent and team to support office operations and community outreach activities. Qualifications Strong sales and customer service skills, including the ability to build rapport, uncover needs, and present solutions clearly. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex insurance concepts in a straightforward way. Basic business, administrative, and organizational skills, including attention to detail, time management, and follow-through. Comfort with technology and office software, including CRM tools, online quoting systems, and standard productivity applications. Ability to work on-site in Oakwood, GA, in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and ethical standards. Prior sales or insurance experience is preferred; applicable state insurance licenses (or ability to obtain) are required as per regulations. High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in business, marketing, or a related field is a plus.
