This role offers the opportunity to work within an established and rapidly growing Hybrid Cath Lab, equipped with advanced technologies that rival larger university settings. The position focuses exclusively on cardiovascular patients within the Hybrid Cath Lab, not the general operating room.

The successful candidate will provide comprehensive perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular patients, encompassing pre-operative assessment, intra-operative scrubbing and circulating duties, and post-operative recovery support. Key Responsibilities

• Perform both scrub and circulating duties for cardiovascular surgical procedures within the Hybrid Cath Lab.
• Provide comprehensive nursing care for cardiovascular patients throughout the perioperative continuum, including pre-operative preparation, intra-operative support, and post-operative monitoring.
• Operate and monitor advanced surgical technologies and equipment specific to a Hybrid Cath Lab environment.
• Ensure patient safety, maintain a sterile field, and adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Qualifications

• Current unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Colorado or a Compact state.
• Minimum of two (2) years of high-volume intraoperative CVOR experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in both scrubbing and circulating roles within a CVOR setting.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
• Current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
