Human Resources Manager

Position Overview Human Resources Manager – Meat and Prepared Foods Division, Kingston, NY (on‑site, 20% travel). Reports to the Sr. Director of Human Resources for the Meat and Prepared Foods Division within the US. Responsibilities Act as a trusted advisor to manufacturing leadership, aligning HR strategy with business goals around growth, customer delivery, and operational performance. Drive organizational design, workforce planning, and capability building for a scalable, high‑performing manufacturing organization; provide data‑driven insights on talent, engagement, and performance. Lead succession planning and talent development initiatives; partner with leaders to develop and retain critical talent, focusing on manufacturing leadership and technical roles. Drive a high‑performance culture through clear expectations, accountability, and alignment with company values; lead performance management processes and employee engagement initiatives. Provide expert guidance on complex employee relations matters; proactively identify and mitigate organizational risks and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Partner with Talent Acquisition to build and execute hiring strategies for critical engineering and operations roles; ensure efficient onboarding and integration of new hires. Oversee core HR processes including compensation, benefits, HRIS, and payroll; drive continuous improvement of HR processes to enhance employee experience and operational effectiveness. Lead and support organizational change initiatives, including post‑integration efforts, structural changes, and business transformations. Qualifications & Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. 7–10 years of HR generalist or HR Business Partner experience. SPHR or PHR Certification preferred. Knowledge of state employment law and HR best practices. Experience supporting manufacturing, operations, logistics, and engineering teams. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future. Estimated annual salary range: $85,000 - $110,000. Salary will vary by location, qualifications, and prior experience.
