Accounts Payable Manager

As the leading medical society representing doctors who care for people with cancer, the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is committed to conquering cancer through research, education, and promotion of the highest quality care.**Who we are looking for:****Responsibilities** Work with financial team to identify Accounts Payable improvements in Oracle Financial Cloud Develop and implement AP policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal controls. Ensure compliance with internal policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements related to AP. Conduct performance evaluations, set goals, and develop training programs to enhance team skills and productivity. **Required Education and Experience** Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, management, or a related field or equivalent years of experience 6+ years' experience performing full-function accounts payable dutiesExtensive knowledge of accounting and accounts payable principles, including general ledger coding Experience in calculating, posting, and managing financial records accurately Staff management experience with a track record of engaging, motivating, and developing staff**Preferred Education and Experience** Oracle Financial Cloud experience preferred **Competencies** Proactive with strong analytical and decision-making skills Excellent leadership skills with ability to motivate, delegate, and develop staff Excellent customer service skillsAbility to build excellent relationships with vendors, suppliers, and volunteers and provide high-touch customer service Excellent communication skills, including written, with ability to clearly convey and receive information Strong planning and problem-solving skills with diligence in adhering to deadlinesAbility to identify and project manage new initiativesExcellent organization skills with high attention to accuracy and detailHybrid work location.
