Position : Deli Associate
Salary: Starting at $14 per hour, with potential for increase based on experience (BOE - Based on Experience)
Shifts Available:
First Shift: 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM
Second Shift: 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Third Shift: 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM
Responsibilities:
Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including sandwiches, salads, and hot food items.
Assist customers in selecting deli products and provide recommendations as needed.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are maintained at all times.
Operate deli equipment such as slicers, grills, and fryers safely and efficiently.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and work area.
Receive and stock deli inventory, rotating products to ensure freshness.
Follow recipes and portion guidelines to maintain consistency in food quality.
Adhere to all company policies and procedures, including health and safety regulations.
Qualifications:
Previous experience working in a deli or food service environment preferred.
Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and measuring ingredients.
