QA/QC Specialist – Electrical Construction (Mission-Critical Data Centers)The QA/QC Specialist ensures that all electrical installations and related construction activities on mission-critical data center projects meet contract documents, specifications, quality standards, and commissioning requirements. This role plays a key part in maintaining strict adherence to quality expectations, minimizing rework, supporting smooth commissioning, and achieving hyperscale-level reliability for complex electrical systems.ResponsibilitiesPerform daily field inspections of electrical installations, including conduit, wiring, terminations, grounding, equipment mounting, labeling, and testing activities.Verify that all work complies with NEC, NFPA, project specifications, and hyperscale data center standards.Review and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and installation drawings to validate quality and compliance.Participate in constructability reviews and provide quality-focused input to reduce the risk of rework and construction issues.Support vendor qualification and evaluation activities for specialty systems or materials, ensuring alignment with defined quality and compliance expectations.Maintain detailed quality reports, inspection logs, test documentation, equipment data sheets, and commissioning-related records in an organized and traceable manner.Prepare and update inspection and test documentation to support commissioning sequencing and turnover requirements.Collaborate with the Project Manager to provide weekly status updates, maintain issue logs, and integrate QA/QC activities with overall project controls.Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality processes and standards across mission-critical electrical construction activities.Essential Skills3–7 years of electrical construction experience, preferably on mission-critical projects such as data centers, semiconductor facilities, or industrial plants.Strong working knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC).Strong working knowledge of NFPA 70E and related safety and electrical standards.Familiarity with data center owner or hyperscale client standards for electrical systems.Ability to read and interpret electrical one-line diagrams, schematics, and installation drawings.Familiarity with commissioning sequencing (L1–L5), including associated testing standards and turnover documentation requirements.Proficiency with construction management tools such as Procore, Autodesk Build/BIM 360, and Bluebeam.Demonstrated experience in quality control, including preparing and managing quality reports, inspection logs, and test documentation.Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate and comprehensive project records.Additional Skills & QualificationsExperience working on mission-critical data center projects or similar high-reliability facilities.Experience participating in constructability reviews and providing quality-centric feedback to design and construction teams.Background supporting vendor qualification and evaluation for specialized electrical systems or materials.Comfort working within structured commissioning processes, including coordination with multiple stakeholders and disciplines.Work EnvironmentThis role supports a large, mission-critical project located in the Kenosha, Wisconsin area. The work environment centers on an active construction site for a high-reliability facility, where electrical systems for a major data center-type project are being installed, tested, and commissioned. The position involves frequent time in the field conducting inspections of electrical installations, interacting closely with construction teams, and verifying work against drawings, codes, and standards. You will use modern construction and project management technologies such as Procore, Autodesk Build/BIM 360, and Bluebeam to manage documentation, track quality records, and support coordination. The environment is fast-paced, schedule-driven, and highly collaborative, with a strong emphasis on safety, precision, and adherence to rigorous quality and commissioning requirements.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract position based out of Mount Pleasant, WI.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $40.00 - $55.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
