Groundskeeper / Tech I Job Details
Pay Rate : $16.00/hr
Location: Hebron, KY
Groundskeeper / Tech I Requirements/Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Current driver's license required.
- Ability to read and understand basic written and verbal instructions.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work, including standing, walking, bending, kneeling, and climbing.
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. occasionally.
- Ability to work on ladders and roofs up to 40 feet.
- Ability to work safely around tools, equipment, and moving mechanical parts.
- Ability to work weekends as needed.
- No felony convictions within the past 7 years. Other background information will require client approval.
- Dependable attendance and strong work ethic.
As a Groundskeeper / Tech I, your responsibilities will include:
- Clean grounds, entryways, parking lots, and dumpster areas.
- Remove litter and maintain clean outdoor areas.
- Check and replace burned-out light bulbs in entryways.
- Assist with pool maintenance.
- Assist with snow and ice removal as needed.
- Spread salt to help prevent ice buildup.
- Plant and maintain grass, flowers, trees, and shrubs.
- Water lawns, shrubs, and flowerbeds.
- Clean drainage ditches, culverts, gutters, and downspouts.
- Sharpen and maintain landscaping tools.
- Perform minor repairs on power equipment such as blowers, chainsaws, and snow removal equipment.
- Assist the maintenance team with refurbishment and preventative maintenance.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Provide professional customer service to residents, subcontractors, coworkers, and management.
- Follow all company safety procedures and properly use tools and equipment.
