$23.00/hr based on experience (not position)

Onsite shift training:

Scheduling Expectations Employees must submit their

availability/schedule at least 30 days in advance

for proper scheduling by site managers.

Schedule Full-Time and Part-Time available

12 hour shifts weekdays, 10 hour shifts weekends

Flexible scheduling up to

40 hours/week

(at discretion of site manager – candidate must submit monthly availability).

12-hour shifts include: 30-minute unpaid lunch

1 paid 15-minute break

1 paid 20-minute break

Medical Assistant Job Description: Assist physicians and/or advanced practitioners in patient diagnosis by performing patient intake, specimen collection, and other lab and testing services. Obtain patient vitals, physical stats, and medical history for each patient visit using their EMR System (WOWs – Workstation on Wheels). Perform phlebotomy and EKG as needed. Promote operational efficiency and patient satisfaction through execution of clinical and administrative duties. Collaborate with clinical team members to provide the highest quality of patient care possible.

MA Requirements

: Certified Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) through the National Heart Association (NHA)

Completion of Clinical Externship High School Diploma or GED required. Flu Vaccine, Proof of Covid Vaccination Card, and Basic Life Support (BLS) Minimum of one (1) years’ experience working in a healthcare setting, preferably in urgent care. Excellent interpersonal, communication, and diplomacy skills – team player who takes initiative and maintains a professional demeanor across all interactions. Strong attention to detail while maintaining a high level of organization. Strong knowledge of all technical skills associated with certification and job function. Ability to work effectively with multiple managers and key stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. Fluency in Spanish, Bengali, Arabic, Creole, French, or Hindi, a plus
