OVERVIEW

Electrolit Manufacturing USA (EMUSA) is a new, state-of-the-art beverage manufacturing facility in Waco, TX. The 640,000 sqft. Facility is situated in the Texas Central Industrial Park and will be operating on a 24/7 schedule. The facility will manufacture and distribute the 26 flavors of ElectrolitTM - the fastest growing isotonic hydration beverage in the US.

POSITION SUMMARY

The primary responsibility of Blending Operator is to precisely stage kits and verify physical ingredients to match the ingredients on batch sheets according to the product recipes. Collaborates with Production and Quality Assurance Technician on the analytical results.  This position will be working with sensitive information therefore it will require an NDA

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Precisely stages kits and verifies physical ingredients to match the ingredients on batch sheets according to the product recipes. Collaborates with Production and Quality Assurance Technician on the analytical results
• Accurately documents lot numbers, quantities, and expiration dates on formulas per customer regulations.
• Performs cleaning and sanitation of batching equipment and fillers (CIP’s, foaming equipment and hand brushing).
• Operates forklift to load/move various ingredients, following all safety procedures.
• Adheres to the highest standards of company and plant safety programs, guidelines, rules, and regulations.
• Always Abides by Electrolit Manufacturing USA’S Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Food Safety Standards.
• Maintains general housekeeping and quality in all areas of Blending Area, production, and any additional areas assigned by plant leadership. Accurately completes hourly inspection sheets based on overall product quality.
• Must have proficient knowledge of mixing ingredients.
• Reports non-compliance and food safety issues to management.
• Assists in other areas as required by plant supervision.
• Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Ability to speak effectively with management and employees at all levels.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability and/or flexibility to work up to 12 hour shifts, day or night, overtime.
• Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time in a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to visually inspect product and materials.

QUALIFICATIONS

·       High school diploma or GED required

·       Minimum 1 year of experience in field or similar manufacturing environment.

·       Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

·       Ability to follow instructions and work under supervision.

·       Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively.

·       Familiarity with food or beverage production is a plus.

·       Fluency in English is a must, Spanish a plus.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS

This position is performed primarily in a manufacturing and production environment within a beverage manufacturing facility. The work environment may include exposure to moving mechanical parts, automated and manual production equipment, wet or humid conditions, temperature variations, and moderate to high noise levels. Employees may be required to work on elevated work surfaces, platforms, ladders, or stairs, and in or around confined or restricted spaces in accordance with applicable safety procedures and training. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) is required and must be worn at all times while on the production floor or in designated work areas, in accordance with OSHA standards and company safety policies. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, bend, reach, climb, balance, push, pull, and use hands and arms to operate machinery, tools, and equipment. The role involves repetitive motions, sustained physical activity, and maintaining situational awareness in a dynamic production environment. The employee must be able to regularly lift and/or move objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without assistance. Work schedules may include extended shifts, overtime, weekends, and/or holidays based on production demands.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

·       Must be willing to travel up to 10% of the time.

·       Must be able to lift 30 lbs.
