Cook Location: Bel Air, MD Pay: $17.00 per hour Schedule: Full-time, rotating schedule Available Shifts

4:30 AM–1:30 PM

6:00 AM–3:00 PM

11:00 AM–7:30 PM

12:00 PM–8:30 PM

Applicants must have flexible availability and be able to work any of the listed shifts. The rotating schedule includes every other weekend and may include holidays. Position Summary We are seeking a dependable Cook to prepare meals in a fast-paced commercial kitchen. The Cook will follow established recipes, portion guidelines, dietary instructions, and food-safety standards while helping maintain a clean and organized work area. Responsibilities Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menus Follow portion, quality, presentation, and dietary guidelines Ensure food is prepared and served at the correct temperature Operate kitchen equipment safely Maintain clean and sanitary food-preparation areas Properly store, label, and rotate food products Follow all food-safety, sanitation, and infection-control procedures Assist with stocking supplies and maintaining inventory Work cooperatively with kitchen staff to ensure meals are prepared on time Complete other food-service duties as assigned Qualifications Previous cooking or commercial food-service experience preferred Experience in a hospital, healthcare, restaurant, cafeteria, or institutional kitchen is a plus Knowledge of basic food-preparation and sanitation practices Ability to follow recipes and written instructions Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift or move kitchen supplies Must be dependable and able to work a flexible, rotating schedule Must be available to work every other weekend
