Lead Mobile Barista & Driver

DESCRIPTION

Travelin' Tom's Coffee of Downtown Tampa is looking for an energetic, dependable, and customer-focused Coffee Truck Lead Operator to help bring our mobile coffee experience to events throughout the Tampa Bay area.

This is not your typical coffee shop job. Our team serves handcrafted beverages at corporate events, schools, apartment communities, sporting events, festivals, and community gatherings. Every day brings a new location, new customers, and a new opportunity to create memorable experiences.

In addition to hourly pay, team members participate in tip sharing, increasing overall earning potential.

REQUIREMENTS

• Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Comfortable driving and operating a large mobile beverage truck/van
• Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and evenings based on event schedule
• Ability to lift 40-50 lbs regularly and work in outdoor Florida weather conditions
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume event environments
• Ability to multitask while maintaining attention to detail and cleanliness standards
• Willingness to assist with truck prep, stocking, inventory tracking, cleaning, sanitizing, water tank filling, and grey water disposal
• Team-oriented mindset and ability to lead or work alongside other baristas during larger events
• Food service, barista, hospitality, catering, or event experience preferred but not required
• Must maintain a professional and positive attitude while representing the Travelin' Tom's brand
