Job Overview A law firm seeks a Senior Real Estate Associate in Houston, TX. This role involves engaging in sophisticated, high-impact work for premier clients, offering opportunities for professional growth and cross-office collaboration. The successful candidate will join a team known for practical counsel and commercial acumen, working on complex transactions across various asset classes. Duties Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, and related real estate contracts. Lead due diligence, including title and survey review, and zoning and land use analyses. Coordinate and close acquisitions, dispositions, financings, and development transactions. Manage workstreams, mentor junior lawyers, and ensure timely, high-quality client deliverables. Requirements At least 10 years of sophisticated real estate transactional experience. Proven track record in leading acquisitions, dispositions, and complex lease negotiations. Experience at a major law firm with a national practice is required. Must be licensed to practice law and in good standing in the state of practice. Education Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Certifications Licensed to practice law in the relevant state. Skills Exceptional written and oral communication skills. Strong analytical capabilities and comfort with complex real estate concepts. Excellent interpersonal skills and commitment to outstanding client service.
