Banquet Assistant Manager - Sheraton Springfield Hotel
Join the dynamic team at Sheraton Springfield Hotel as a Banquet Assistant Manager and play a vital role in delivering exceptional event experiences. We are seeking a motivated and organized professional to support our banquet operations, ensuring seamless service and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Banquet Manager in coordinating and supervising banquet events from setup to breakdown
- Ensure all banquet functions are executed according to client specifications and hotel standards
- Oversee banquet staff, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure high-quality service
- Monitor event timelines and logistics to ensure smooth operations
- Collaborate with culinary and service teams to meet guest expectations
- Handle guest inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally
- Maintain cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations in banquet areas
- Assist with inventory management and equipment maintenance
Skills and Qualifications:
- Previous experience in banquet or event management preferred
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
- Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and safety regulations
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality or management training is a plus
