About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its non-profit social services organization. The successful candidate will be dedicated to enhancing the quality of life for individuals and the community, particularly those with developmental disabilities. This role is pivotal in providing job and life skills in various settings, including manufacturing, parts assembly, and retail, as well as in-house programs. The Executive Director will be responsible for the overall management of the organization, ensuring that all business aspects are in line with the mission and values. This includes interacting with families, community leaders, government officials, and companies to raise awareness and support. Applicants must have a minimum of 8 years' of proven leadership experience in a social services environment, with a Bachelor's degree preferred. The role requires a leader with a strong background in social services, adult care services, rehabilitation, or day treatment programs, and a sound business acumen. The Executive Director will lead a staff of approximately 40, with 5-7 direct reports, and must be adept at managing people, budgets, and making strategic business decisions. Compliance with various agency standards is essential, as is the ability to work with individuals who have daily living and job training needs. The ideal candidate will be trustworthy, honest, and of the highest ethical integrity, and must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
