Customer Service Representative

Full Time In Person Job Information Education and Experience Previous experience in building product sales or related field. Physical Requirements None The Inside Sales/Customer Service Representatives are responsible for creating / maintaining customer relationships, general sales information, product pricing, delivery coordination and more. Most often they are the customer’s first point-of-contact. Team members aggressively promote and sell all Tamlyn product lines. Duties/Responsibilities Selling building materials to our customers over the phone and via email. Maintaining and growing existing customer base through prospecting sales account development, quoting and customer follow up. Sourcing special order items and custom flashing for our customers. Ensuring all customer sales orders are entered complete and accurate. Advising customers on inventory levels and pricing. Answering the phone and directing calls. Scheduling and answering question regarding deliveries for customers. Keeping constant communication with Outside Sales / Regional Sales Managers. Coordinating with scheduler/dispatcher, billing orders, and assisting the Outside Sales team with quotes. Required Skills/Abilities Strong verbal, written and over-the-phone communication skills. Excellent sales and customer service skills, with proven negotiation skills. Thorough understanding of company’s products and/or services, and those of immediate competitors in the surrounding market. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
