Centralized Telemetry Nurse - Nights

Role Overview: Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within established nursing standards. Promotes patient and family-centered care, educating patients on managing their illness, medications, and post-treatment needs. Collaborates with the healthcare team to develop, implement, and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care settings. Key Responsibilities Assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and cultural considerations. Participate in activities to enhance patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in ongoing professional development. Use critical nursing skills to evaluate patient conditions and respond appropriately, including calling codes for lethal rhythm detection in telemetry monitoring. Work in a safety-sensitive environment, maintaining alertness and safe practices at all times. Qualifications & Skills RN license required; Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree necessary; Bachelor’s degree preferred. No prior experience required; less than 2 years of experience preferred for higher education levels. Strong communication, assessment, and critical thinking skills essential. Additional Details: Onsite role requiring 12-hour shifts, with preferred inpatient experience of 3+ years.
