Warehouse Associate- Night (Part-Time)This position is responsible for unloading trucks and accurately placing product in appropriate warehouse locations. This position requires a high degree of accuracy and a sense of urgency, while meeting safe operating standards according to Tryon's established guidelines.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMoving product from pallet jack to shelving or vice versaMoving and placing product on the automatic conveyer belt systemStraightening product on shelf or in bin locationsPicking ordersReading instructionsBeing aware of potential safety hazards, such as moving forklifts and other power equipmentOperating forklifts and other power equipmentOther duties as assignedQualificationsREQUIREDMust be 18 or olderAbility to lift up to 175lbsMust be a team player and work well under minimum supervisionKnowledge of safe work practicesAbility to work in a warehouse environment in all types of weatherAbility to work required shift as definedAvailable to work overtime as neededAbility to work within tight time constraints in a fast-paced environmentPREFERREDHigh School Diploma or GEDPrior warehouse or distribution center experiencePrior experience or certification on power equipment (forklift, pallet jack, reach truck)Working ConditionsThe employee will primarily perform work in these areas:WarehouseThe noise level in these areas is normally moderate.Why Join Tryon?At Tryon, we take pride in our people as much as our portfolio.
