Bartender Benefits  

• Manage bar setup, operation, and closing duties. 
• Take drink orders from guests, mix and serve drinks according to recipes. 
• Handle cash drawer and enter orders into POS. 
• Work closely with Bar Manager to maintain inventory and supplies. 
• Ensure clean and attractive display of glassware and bottles. 
• Maintain professional appearance and customer care at a fine dining level. 
• Suggest beverages when applicable and ensure accuracy of server tickets. 
• Know all bar prices and check IDs of questionable customers. 
• Follow health and safety regulations, control waste, and communicate issues to management. 
• Maintain equipment, wash glassware, and keep the bar area clean. 
• Follow rotation procedures for product freshness. 
• Take ownership of issues, resolve promptly, and involve management if needed. 
• Ensure a crumb-free and food-free closing of the establishment. 

• Must possess adequate knowledge of wine varietals and beer styles. Further training will be provided. 
• Prior restaurant experience required  
• Must be age 21 or older and have TABC certification (acquired or in process) 
• Must possess basic math skills and have the ability to handle money 
• Ability to work at a quick pace and fast speed, yet under control 
• Ability to remain standing for long periods of time 
• Able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds
