Credentialing Enrollment Specialist

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina (Onsite) Department: Enterprise Corporate – Managed Health Clinical Insights & Operations: Credentialing & Enrollment Contract Duration: 08/31/2026 – 08/28/2027 Pay: $23-$25 Key Responsibilities Perform primary source verification for managed care credentialing and re-credentialing activities. Process provider applications and enrollment documentation. Resolve provider enrollment and billing-related issues. Maintain and update provider information within the Echo database. Track and obtain required documentation, including licenses, certifications, insurance information, and DEA registrations. Conduct ongoing follow-up to ensure all credentialing requirements are completed on time. Prepare physician files for audits conducted by managed care organizations, accreditation agencies, and compliance teams. Conduct practice site visits when required. Maintain communication with managed care organizations and internal departments. Review provider directories and verify demographic and participation information. Support credentialing and quality review committees. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED. Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting provider credentialing, privileging, or enrollment. Experience working in a hospital, managed care, or healthcare environment. Strong knowledge of provider credentialing processes. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Word and Excel.
