Travel Registered Nurse Tele Job

Overview
Registered Nurse - Telemetry in Saint Helena, California. Start date: August 24, 2026. This is an 8-week travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,909 to $1,964 per week. Guaranteed hours: 36 per week. Shift: 12-hour day shifts, three days per week (7:00 AM–7:00 PM). This assignment requires Telemetry duties within a high-acuity environment and uses Epic for charting.

Responsibilities
- Deliver direct and coordinated nursing care for assigned telemetry patients according to established standards and the nursing process.
- Collect relevant health data, analyze assessments, identify care needs, and develop a plan of care; implement and adjust interventions as needed.
- Administer medications, monitor responses, and respond to clinical changes or emergencies following ACLS/BLS protocols.
- Collaborate with the treatment team, discharge planning, and patient/family education to promote safe transitions of care.
- Supervise and delegate appropriately to other nursing staff; ensure a safe, healing environment and continuous quality improvement.
- Document care and patient progress in the Epic electronic medical record and participate in backfill processes as required.

Requirements
- Licensure: Current RN license in California (state of practice)
- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) required (AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS)
- Experience: Minimum of two years of recent acute care or telemetry experience
- Education: BSN preferred
- Additional: Must have current Epic EMR experience; ability to work in a fast-paced telemetry setting and fulfill a 12-hour day-shift schedule
