Global Planning and Fulfillment Specialist

This position reports to: Global Operations Manager The position is ideally based within our Business Line locations in a hybrid setup, though we welcome applications globally. The role involves approximately 30% travel time. Main Responsibilities Develop, communicate, and execute end-to-end Planning & Fulfillment strategies aligned with overall business objectives. Lead the deployment and continuous improvement of S&OP and inventory management best practices across global units. Drive end-to-end process optimization to reduce lead times, inventory (including Sales in Excess), and improve on-time delivery and value chain visibility. Identify cross-functional opportunities to enhance Planning & Fulfillment performance and contribute added value to other business areas. Lead global initiatives on forecasting, capacity planning, and resource optimization in collaboration with Supply Chain and Operations. Monitor and improve key KPIs (inventory levels, forecast accuracy, lead time, service levels) through data-driven decision-making. Coach and support local teams in implementing standardized processes, systems, and continuous improvement practices (e.g., Lean Six Sigma). Lead improvement programs and cross-functional projects to enhance operational excellence and working capital performance. Qualifications Degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Engineering, Business, or a related field. Proven experience in Planning & Fulfillment, Supply Chain, or Operations within a global/matrix organization. Strong expertise in S&OP processes, inventory management, and end-to-end supply chain optimization. Demonstrated experience in driving process improvements and operational excellence initiatives. Advanced analytical skills with experience in KPI tracking, data analysis, and performance management. Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and planning tools; familiarity with APS/MES is advantageous. Strong project management and stakeholder management capabilities across functions and geographies. Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills with the ability to drive change in complex environments.
