This is a working lead role where you will balance departmental leadershipincluding scheduling and team mentorshipwith high-level technical inspection tasks. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in a machine shop environment and is proficient in navigating the rigorous quality standards required by Tier-1 aerospace OEMs./ppCore Responsibilities:/pulliLead all inspection personnel, manage daily work schedules, and provide performance metrics and quality data to management./liliPerform First Article (FAIR), In-Process, and Final inspections on complex precision-machined parts./liliReview and critique AS9102 reports and support both internal and external audit efforts./liliEstablish and monitor KPIs to evaluate the efficiency of the quality control system./liliInvestigate non-conformities, perform root cause analysis, and implement effective CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions)./li/ulpRequired Skills Qualifications:/pulli6+ years of recent inspection experience in a manufacturing environment, with at least 2 years in a leadership or supervisory capacity./liliProficient in reading blueprints and applying advanced GDT (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)./liliStrong working knowledge of AS9100D QMS and experience preparing/maintaining AS9102 documentation./liliHands-on experience with CMM, FARO Arm, and metrology software such as PC-DMIS or Verisurf./liliFamiliarity with ERP systems (e.g., JobBOSS), CAD software (CATIA V5 preferred), and MS Office 365./liliFamiliarity with major aerospace standards including BAC, BMS, BDS, and MIL specs./li/ulpEducation:/pulliHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent is required./li/ul/div
